STCSxPCS: Moving Forward in 2025
Beginning in September 2025, the Saint Thomas Choir School (STCS) will partner with Professional Children's School (PCS) to offer an unparalleled, music-centered education in the heart of Manhattan. The Saint Thomas Choristers will form a significant cohort within the PCS middle school student body.
The boy choristers, comprising grades 4 through 8, will continue to live at STCS, immersing themselves in intensive musical training in a caring and familial environment. They will sing an average of five services per week at Saint Thomas Church as part of the world-famous Choir of Men and Boys and perform in the Concerts at Saint Thomas series, enriching their spiritual and artistic lives. This unique experience fosters not only exceptional musical skills but also a shared sense of purpose and lifelong friendships.
Complementing their musical and spiritual formation, the boy choristers will be formally enrolled at PCS, an institution with a longstanding tradition of academic excellence and a deep commitment to supporting the performing arts. At PCS, they will join a vibrant community of peers dedicated to excellence across various artistic and sporting disciplines, further enriching their educational experience. An average day will include several hours at PCS for core academics, with remaining time based at STCS engaged in chorister life, which will include continued studies in Latin, health, theology, and music theory, as well as weekly private music lessons, sports, and recreational activities.
STCS is currently recruiting for the 2025-2026 school year. If you know a boy who loves to sing and is eager to grow within this extraordinary musical and educational environment—one of the few of its kind in the world—please contact us for more information.
